A statewide radio fundraiser is scheduled for Nov. 10 as New Hampshire broadcasters partner with Swim With A Mission to raise money for veteran service organizations ahead of Veterans Day 2026.

“Mission 4 Veterans” will be a one-day radiothon with radio stations across New Hampshire asking listeners to donate online through Swim With A Mission. Broadcasters will remind listeners to donate and that many stations will invite live guests into the studio to discuss nonprofit programs available to veterans and first responders in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters and SWAM are organizing the fundraiser. Funds donated at SWAM.org will support veteran service organizations that provide programs and services to veterans and their families, according to the release. Camp Resilience, UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Easterseals Military & Veterans Campus, and Operation Delta Dog are among the organizations SWAM has supported through its fundraising efforts.

“As we pause to honor those who have served, this Veterans Day, we are asking people to consider donating to the various programs and services whose mission is to give back to those who have given so much to all of us,” Phil Taub, co-founder of Swim With A Mission, said. “We are deeply indebted to the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters for donating their airtime to the cause of Veterans.”

Leaders from those organizations and others will appear on radio stations across New Hampshire throughout the day to talk about how their programs are affecting veterans and their families and why continued community support matters.

“New Hampshire has one of the highest Veteran populations per capita in the entire country; their service and their contributions deserve our support,” Tracy Caruso, executive director of NHAB, said. “Our radio station extended family is deeply honored to share our radio airwaves for our Veterans. We thank all of them and their families for their service, and we hope any funds raised through this effort will translate into help and support for these wonderful families.”

SWAM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports veterans and their families through fundraisers, programs, and initiatives, according to the release. The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters, established in 1954, is described in the release as a voluntary statewide trade organization serving New Hampshire over-the-air radio and television stations.
