Submit Your Ideas For The Best Things To Do In New Hampshire, Governor Requests
Gov. Kelly Ayotte wants to hear your ideas for a fun summer; state expects 4.6M visitors this season; "Wildly Responsible" effort underway.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire’s governor wants to know where you go in the Granite State to build family memories while enjoying the summer.
Gov. Kelly Ayotte instituted “Super603 Days” on Thursday, highlighting all the great things to do here in New Hampshire. The initiative is her take on the “Super603 Tour” of the Sununu administration during the coronavirus pandemic. The effort highlighted businesses, attractions, and fun happenings in case out-of-state tourism was dampened by fear of the virus. The initiative was a success but, it turned out, was not needed, since the tourists came here anyway (some even migrated permanently).
“Joe and I have made so many wonderful memories with our kids on family trips without ever leaving our state,” Ayotte said. “I know so many Granite Staters share that same love for a ‘staycation’ — whether it’s relaxing on our beaches, cruising our lakes, hiking our mountains, or exploring our historical sites and entertainment attractions.”
Submissions can be posted online, linked here, or via email.
Ayotte said she looked forward to reading residents’ suggestions. She called New Hampshire “such a special state” and thanked state officials, like park employees and Fish & Game, for promoting “safe enjoyment of our natural beauty.”
The Department of Business and Economic Affairs also announced the launch a new initiative, “Wildly Responsible,” to promote respect for the state’s natural resources and environment and to preserve a positive experience for everyone.
“While part of New Hampshire Fish and Game’s mission is to connect people with the outdoors, our priority is that everyone does so safely,” NH Fish and Game Executive Director StephanieSimek, said. “Wildly Responsible will be a great tool to help us speak with one voice and get important information to everyone who enjoys outdoor recreation in the state, and we are glad to be a part of this effort.”
Granite Staters, however, will not be the only ones enjoying our state during the spring, summer, and fall vacation seasons. Division of Travel and Tourism officials expect 4.6 million people to visit the state during the summer alone. Those tourists are anticipated to spend around $2.6 billion while here.
“We are confident that New Hampshire continues to be a popular destination, in large part due to the incredible product we offer,” BEA Commissioner Taylor Caswell said. “Our state tourism industry works hard to assure visitors get a world-class welcome and experience when they travel here.”
