NH Corrections Is Searching For Sexual Assaulter On Parole Warrant
Michael Schilz is wanted on a parole violation after 2004, 2005 convictions; he may be camping with the homeless in Concord or in Vermont.
CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is searching for a homeless sex offender accused of a parole violation after being convicted on a child sexual assault charge nearly two decades ago.
Michael Edward Schilz is white, 57, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs around 106 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair, which was also balding. Investigators said Schilz had a tattoo of a flower and leaves on his right shoulder and a scar on his right wrist.
The warrant for his arrest was issued on May 23.

“(Schilz) is wanted for a parole violation from underlying conviction of aggravated felonious sexual assault on a minor under 18 where he was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison,” an alert stated. “NH Department of Corrections issued a warrant for absconding from supervision. Schilz has been known to be homeless in the Concord area and has family ties to the state of Vermont.”
According to superior court records, Schilz was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, second-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, all felonies, and prohibited sales after an incident in Raymond in January 2004. He pleaded guilty to the charges in July 2004 and May 2005.
