CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a possibly “armed and dangerous” felon wanted on a parole violation after a drug conviction.

Brandon Robert Janak is 29, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. According to an alert, Janak has skin discoloration birthmarks on his left charge and numerous tattoos — including “BJ” and “2662” on his left leg, “205” on his right ear, sleeve tattoos on his arms, as well as a Swastika, heart with a knife in it, and the words, “Board to Sin, Sin to Survive,” on his chest.

The alert noted “BJ” was one of his aliases. The New Hampshire State Parole Board and the Grafton County Sheriff’s Office issued the warrant for his arrest.

Janak’s criminal background includes drug possession, endangering the welfare of a child, and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charges — which is why the alert included an “armed and dangerous” warning. A grand jury also recently indicted him on two felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charges and one felon in possession of a self-defense weapon outside the home charges, the alert stated.

Janak could be in the Tilton, Franklin, or Hill areas. He was last known to be living in Bristol.
