Back in October 2020, when he was a U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force fugitive of the week, Ellsey was in the Schenectady, New York, area, and was wanted by the Kennedale TX Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender. Press reports nearly three years ago also identified him as a former native of Methuen, MA.

According to superior court records, Ellsey’s criminal history dates back nearly 30 years.

In February 1995, he was involved in several felony cases although records do not state specifics about the incidents or cases.

In December 2000, he was accused of being a habitual offender in Derry, based on an incident in September 2000. Ellsey pleaded guilty to the charge in April 2021.

At the same time, he pleaded guilty to the habitual offender charge, he was accused of conspiracy out of Derry from an incident in March 2000. Ellsey pleaded guilty in May 2002.

In May 2004, Ellsey faced two felony aggravated felonious sexual assault counts as well as second-degree assault, simple assault, criminal mischief, and other charges out of Hampstead from December 2003. During the case, he was charged with felony witness tampering after an incident on Christmas Eve in 2003 in Brentwood. He pleaded guilty to one sexual assault, the second-degree assault and tampering charges, and one of the mischief charges in May 2005.

Fast forward about a eight and half years, and Ellsey was in trouble with law enforcement again.

After an incident in Plaistow in October 2013, he was charged with criminal threatening-deadly weapon and two second-degree assault charges. In January 2014 in Hampstead, he was accused of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, hand guns-felon in possession, and two controlled drug: acts prohibited charges. And in Sandown, in July 2014, he was accused of aggravated DUI-0.16+, driving after revocation or suspension, and breach of bail charges.

Ellsey pleaded guilty in September 2014 to the hand guns-felon in possession, one of the second-degree assault charges, and all three Sandown charges.
