NH DOT, Fish & Game, State Police Make Way For Ducklings
Officials helped a group of ducklings cross Interstate 393 in Concord and rescued a few that became trapped in a storm drain.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police say that helping the residents of the Granite State — and animals, alike — is one of the most rewarding jobs of being a state trooper. In Concord on Thursday, they did just that: assisting in rescuing a group of ducklings out of a storm drain.
Troopers from Troop D were called to I-393 for a report of ducklings in the middle of the Interstate. One was caught and others were helped across the highway safely. However, a few fell into a storm drain.
Officials from the New Hampshire Fish & Game and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation were called to the area to assist and the remaining ducklings were rescued and returned to a pond nearby.
