Follow-Up: Kerri Ann Yaqoob, who was featured in November by the NH DOC, was arrested Monday by Vermont State Police on multiple warrants.

CONCORD, NH — A convicted drug dealing fugitive, accused of being on the lam by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections while possibly being armed and dangerous, is in custody after being arrested in Vermont.
Kerri Ann Yaqoob, 33, was wanted in New Hampshire on a parole violation after being convicted of dealing fentanyl. In early November, she was a featured fugitive of the week by the NH Department of Corrections, with a warning she might be “armed and dangerous” due to a gun being found in her home during the original arrest.
On Monday, she was arrested by the Vermont State Police, according to corrections investigators.

According to superior court records, Yaqoob has faced several drug charges during the past five years.
In June 2018, she was accused of two counts of felony drug possession in Claremont. After failing to appear at an arraignment in February 2019 to the two charges, she pleaded guilty to both charges two months later.
She was also accused of acts prohibited out of Claremont in June 2018 but charged a couple of weeks later. Yaqoob failed to appear at arraignment. The charge was nolle prossed later in 2019.
In October 2018, she was accused of acts prohibited in Newport from the prior July. Again, she failed to appear at arraignment and a dispositional conference hearing in December 2018. She pleaded guilty in August 2019 to the single count.
In January 2019, Yaqoob was accused of two escape charges. She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in September 2019.
In March 2019, she racked up six acts prohibited charges in Claremont and pleaded guilty to four counts five months later. A motion was requested to amend the sentence, and a motion was made to reconsider after it was denied. That motion, too, was denied in April 2021.
In April 2019, the state of New Hampshire filed a civil complaint against Yaqoob concerning $2,530. The court rendered a default judgment in September 2019.
“The New Hampshire Department of Corrections thanks the Vermont Department of Corrections Probation and Parole and the Vermont State Police for their assistance with this case,” investigators said.
