NH Gives Campaign Begins Tuesday Featuring 24 Hours Of Fundraising For 701 Granite State Nonprofits
Gov. Kelly Ayotte joined nonprofit leaders in Concord on Monday as NH Gives prepares for its 24-hour fundraising event.

CONCORD, NH — Gov. Kelly Ayotte joined nonprofit leaders at the State House in Concord Monday to launch this year’s NH Gives campaign, a statewide online fundraising event led by the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits in partnership with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
The 24-hour campaign begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, and runs through 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 10.
Ayotte used the event to highlight the role nonprofits play in communities across New Hampshire and to encourage residents to donate to a nonprofit of their choosing. The campaign is described as the state’s biggest day of giving for nonprofits.

“New Hampshire is fortunate to have an amazing network of nonprofits who help serve our communities and care for some of our most vulnerable citizens,” she said. “As we kick off the NH Gives Campaign, I urge Granite Staters to support the nonprofits who have helped make our state such an exceptional place to live.”
This year, a record 701 nonprofits from across the Granite State are participating, according to the release. Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the NH Center for Nonprofits, said the number reflects growing interest in the annual fundraiser and the way it helps organizations connect with donors.

“We continue to see incredible momentum behind NH Gives,” she said. “A record number of nonprofits are participating this year because NH Gives works. It helps organizations reach new supporters, strengthen existing donor relationships, and shine a spotlight on the essential role nonprofits play in every New Hampshire community.”
To encourage donations during the campaign, the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and its donors will provide $30,000 in “Power of Community” incentive prizes to organizations with the highest number of unique online donors. The release said additional cash and in-kind prizes from donors and businesses total more than $27,000.
“New Hampshire’s nonprofits do critical work every single day that makes life better for every single person who calls New Hampshire home,” Richard Ober, president and CEO of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, NH Gives’ lead sponsor, said. “NH Gives is an opportunity for Granite Staters to give back and help nonprofits keep doing what they do for all of us.”
