The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office alleges that Verrill killed Jenna Pellegrini, 32, of Barrington, on Jan. 29, 2017, by “stabbing her multiple times,” and Christine Sullivan, 48, of Farmington, “by stabbing her multiple times and striking her in the head with a blunt object,” according to a press statement from Geoffrey W.R. According to her obituary, Sullivan was born in Long Branch, NJ, grew up in Toms River, and also spent time in Cape Coral, FL. A celebration of her life will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch on Feb. 11.
Pellegrini was born in Rochester, was a graduate of Dover High School, and attended NHTI and the Portsmouth Beauty School. A memorial service was held in Lee on Feb. 4.
The New Hampshire Union Leader noted in a story last week that both Sullivan and Pellegrini were previously arrested in the last two years on drug charges. Sullivan – who was active in the Florida music scene and raised money to help others – was arrested in South Carolina in 2014 for trafficking meth, possession, and possession of bomb making material. At the time, she was using the name “Christina Marie Cuozzo,” according to the report.
According to online reports, Verill had a history of interactivity with police, too. Fosters.com noted in December 2010 that he was allegedly involved in a graffiti incidents involving tagging stores with the words "Abraham Lincoln" and "emancipate." During questioning, according to the report, Verrill allegedly admitted to police he had damaged the properties, while another man acted as lookout.
