NH Man Pleads Guilty To Fentanyl Trafficking
Robert St. John of Laconia pooled money with two other man, met with a drug supplier in Lawrence, MA, but they were nabbed in Derry by NHSP.

CONCORD, NH — A Lakes Region man pleaded guilty to drug trafficking in U.S. District Court today, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Robert St. John, 31, of Laconia, pleaded guilty on March 29, 2018, to possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute, and possess with intent to distribute-fentanyl. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 17, 2018.
Last May, John and two other men pooled money together to buy drugs in the Bay State. They drove from Belmont to Lawrence, MA, scored the drugs, and then, drove back to New Hampshire. In Derry, on the way back to Belmont, they were bagged by state troopers who seized around 111 grams of fentanyl
“Stopping the deadly flow of fentanyl into New Hampshire is a high priority of the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” said U.S. Attorney Scott Murray. “Fentanyl has caused many overdose deaths in New Hampshire. In order to protect our community, we will continue to work closely with all of our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who are responsible for distributing opioids in the Granite State.”

Harold H. Shaw, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Boston Division, said the guilty plea showed that St. John was accepting responsibility for his actions.
“Mr. Saint John is only one of many, fueling the flow of illegal drugs into our neighborhoods,” he noted. “Together, with our law enforcement partners, the FBI will continue to do everything we possibly can to root out drug traffickers who seek to exploit vulnerable people suffering from addiction.”
