NH Officials Searching for Coyote With a Jar on Its Head
The animal was spotted in Pembroke and now New Hampshire Fish & Game is asking for the public's help finding the animal.
CONCORD, NH - State officials are asking for the public’s help tracking down a coyote that was spotted in Pembroke with a jar on its head, according to media reports.
The New Hampshire Fish & Game Department received calls about the animal over the weekend.
A conservation officer attempted to remove the jar from the coyote’s head, according to the Boston Globe, but it sprinted away and hasn’t been seen since.

WMUR-TV is reporting that officials don’t know if the coyote has broken free of the entrapment or just went deeper into the woods.
Anyone who sees the coyote is urged to call the Wildlife Division of the New Hampshire First & Game Department at 603-271-2461 or via email at wildlife@wildlife.nh.gov.
