NH Police Seek Assistance with Missing Teen

Joyce Gilbert, 15, of Salisbury, has been missing since April 29. NHSP are asking, Have you seen her?

CONCORD, NH - New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a local teen that has been missing since about 3 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, according to an alert.

Joyce Gilbert, of Salisbury is 15, about 5-feet, 4-inches tall, and weighs around 115 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last scene with her hair up in a band and was wearing a gray camo sweatshirt and tan pants.

NHSP were sent to Salisbury at around 8 p.m. to investigate a report of a missing juvenile. Troopers learned that Gilbert reportedly had a fight with her father in the backyard and then went back into the home. A short time later, she reportedly fled the home and left in an unknown direction.

“The parents conducted a search for Gilbert and after realizing they were unable to locate her, contacted state police to report her missing,” according to the alert.

Troopers canvassed the area but had no luck finding her, according to Sgt. Ron Taylor.

Gilbert, according to investigators, was last seen by herself, leaving the Tilton Walmart location, on April 30, while riding a white mountain bike.

According to the alert, she is known to frequent Franklin, Tilton, Boscawen, and Penacook. Both investigators and her parents are concerned for her welfare due to her age and current weather conditions. Foul play is not suspected in this case, according to Taylor.
