NH State Police Arrest Pair on Drug Charges

Dawn Lent faces heroin and methamphetamine distribution charges while Donald Lent was arrested for possession after a bust yesterday.

FRANKLIN, NH - The New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations Unit continued hunting down alleged drug dealings around the Granite State, this time, busting two Franklin residents yesterday.

Dawn Lent, 31, of Franklin, was arrested on Jan. 20, 2016, and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Also arrested was Donald Lent, 59, same address, on a possession of heroin charge.

According to Sgt. James Norris of the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations Unit, the team executed a search warrant on West Bow Street in Franklin and then, arrested the pair.

Dawn Lent was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned this morning while Donald Lent was released on personal recognizance bail has a court date on April 12.

According to online reports, Dawn Lent was arrested in May 2015 for possession of a controlled/narcotic drug and a bench warrant in Northfield. She was arrested in Franklin on a Merrimack County warrant in October 2010. In 2009, while living in Rochester, she was arrested on drug charges.
