NH Tornado Warnings Issued

New Hampshire tornado warnings were issued in the Concord, Seacoast and Keene areas.

DOVER, NH — Tornado warnings were issued across Southern New Hampshire Friday as severe thunderstorms rolled through the region. The latest tornado warning was issued for the Seacoast, including the cities of Dover, Rochester, Newington, Somersworth. The warning was in effect through 6 p.m.

Two more tornado warnings were issued for the Concord and Keene areas Friday afternoon. Scattered power outages were reported early Friday night.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms were expected to continue across Southern New Hampshire until about 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service said the worst of the storm is over "mainly rural areas of central Merrimack County, including the following locations... Webster, Salisbury, Boscawen, Northfield, Sulton, Andover and Wilmot."

Severe thunderstorm warnings and flash flood warnings and watches are also in effect across the state.
