NH Tornado Watch Being Issued
The Storm Prediction Center said "the threat for a few tornadoes and damaging winds is increasing this afternoon."

A tornado watch has been issued in New Hampshire as potentially severe thunderstorms ready to make their way here. The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center earlier said a tornado watch was expected to be issued in parts of New Hampshire, though that doesn't mean a tornado is likely. The watch only warns of a 10 percent risk - still, it would be the first watch with that high a risk in any part of New Hampshire since 2012.
The part of New Hampshire with the highest risk is the northwest portion, but the watch itself could cover most of the state. "The threat for a few tornadoes and damaging winds is increasing this afternoon," the SPC said.
