NH Weather Advisory: Snow is on the Way
The NWS issues winter weather advisory for Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham counties; expect a short but potent storm.

A short – but potent – winter storm is heading to New Hampshire this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Exactly how many inches of the white stuff will hit the Granite State isn’t known but it could be up to four inches when all is said and done, according to forecasters.
The storm is expected to begin to reach the area around 3 p.m. this afternoon (Jan. 12, 2016), and run through the early morning hours tomorrow. Light snow will start in the southeastern part of the state – Amherst, Merrimack, and Milford – and run through coastal southern Maine. The snow may mix with rain in Exeter, Hampton, and/or Portsmouth by around 5 p.m.
