NHADA Education Outreach to CRTC Auto Tech Students
Students learn to plan out their educational and professional pathways

There are currently about 400 open automotive industry jobs in New Hampshire that offer good pay and a chance for advanced career education and training. And a first step for high school students toward claiming one of those career opportunities is to complete the Concord Regional Technical Center's Automotive Technology program.
On Thursday, New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association Workforce Development Coordinator Kate Amrol spoke to CRTC Auto Tech students about the educational and career options and opportunities waiting for them in New Hampshire's automotive industry.
"If you want to do this for a career, and you want to pursue postsecondary education, then there are plenty of opportunities for you to accomplish those goals in this industry," Ms. Amrol told students. She went on to explain what the various NH community colleges had to offer, and to talk about employer-based training, available scholarships, and tuition assistance programs offered by some employers.

"One of our core missions at the CRTC is to work with students to plan and prepare for various college and career pathways," said CRTC Principal Steve Rothenberg. "Our industry partners, such as the NHADA, are key to our ability to provide students with a robust and targeted career exploration experience."
The CRTC is one of New Hampshire’s most advanced high school career and technical education centers. Opened in 1980, the CRTC serves more than 680 students from nine regional school districts. The 11 targeted CTE programs provide students with a career-focused education designed to prepare them for college, career and life success.
