NHSP: Danbury Man Clocked at 121 mph on I-93

Corey Cole was arrested yesterday after allegedly driving more than 50 miles per hour over the speed limit by state police aircraft.

It turns out that a New Hampshire teen from Plymouth wasn’t the only one arrested by state police for speeding on I-93 yesterday, according to police.

Corey Cole, 24, of Danbury, was allegedly clocked going 121 mph in a 70 zone at around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2015, in the town of Canterbury. He was arrested and charged with reckless driving.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, a special enforcement unit was monitoring traffic with state police aircraft and tracked Cole’s 2004 Saab 9-3 going 121 mph. Another trooper on the ground stopped the Saab and arrested Cole. He’s due in court on Dec. 11.
