CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire State Police are holding two DWI Saturation Patrols in the Granite State on Memorial Day weekend. The two patrols will be held in the capital region and the Lakes Region, according to state police. They will be held sometime between May 25, and May 28, 2019.

The program, approved by the NH Highway Safety Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, provides federal highway safety funds to support these Saturation Patrols, noted Lt. Michael Commerford of Troop D.

“The New Hampshire State Police has taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving when impaired,” he said. “New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent.”
