According to state police, a trooper was sent to the crash at around 11 a.m. The initial call reported that a pickup truck had gone off the right side of the roadway into the woods.

After investigating the incident, state police allege, England was driving while intoxicated in his Ford F350 pickup truck. Three separate witnesses reported seeing England operating the F-350 at speeds that were estimated to be well over 90 mph, according to a report.

“The investigation revealed that England had initially gone off the left side of the roadway striking the median side guardrail,” according to Lt. Greg Ferry. “The F350 then went across both travel lanes striking the right side guard rail, rolled several times, went airborne striking several trees, and came to a resting position about 25 feet down a wooded embankment.”

England was ejected from the vehicle and transported to the Concord Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and was later arrested. He was released on personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to be arraigned at the Franklin District Court tomorrow morning.
