NHSP Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
Three occupants ejected from pickup truck after reportedly failing to stop for police.

New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash on July 3, 2015, on Route 114 in New Boston and Weare.
At around 1 a.m. this morning, the New Boston Police Department attempted to make a motor vehicle stop of a 1997 GMC pickup truck for operating without taillights.
The truck was driving northbound and allegedly refused to stop. A short time later, the pickup truck crashed off the southbound shoulder of the roadway after entering Weare.

“ As a result of the collision all of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries,” according to Sgt. Lencki of the New Hampshire State Police. “ One occupant sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at Concord Hospital. The other two occupants, sustained serious injuries and were transported to the Elliott Hospital in Manchester.”
The New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit was requested to respond to the scene and investigate the collision. Weare Police, New Boston Police, and the Weare Fire and Rescue Department also all assisted at the scene.

Initial investigation revealed that the GMC pickup was attempting to elude the New Boston Police Officer at a high rate of speed prior to the collision, according to Lencki. The full circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
