According to New Hampshire State Police, at around 10:30 a.m., the special enforcement unit was monitoring traffic in both the air and on the ground. While in New Hampton, state police aircraft saw a Lincoln MKX traveling “at an extremely high rate of speed.” The vehicle was later clocked at 105 mph in a 70 mph zone.

“The vehicle was passing several vehicles at a high rate of speed while in the left lane,” according to Sgt. Patrick Curran.

The driver, Kimble, was pulled over by a trooper and arrested. He is due in court on Feb. 25.

“The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors,” Curran noted in a press statement. “Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire’s roadways safe for all residents and visitors.”
