NHSP: Man Who Perished in I-89 Crash Identified
Driver who died in a fire on March 1, 2016, was from New York.

CONCORD, NH - New Hampshire State Police have identified the person who passed away during a fiery crash on I-89, on March 1, 2016, according to a press statement.
The driver was Edward Brown, 36, of Central Islip, NY.
According to state police, the crash occurred on I-89 South near Ext 16 in Enfield. Witnesses and troopers were at the scene attempting to reach the driver from the vehicle while it was fully engulfed in flames but their attempts were unsuccessful.

“We would thank you for respecting the victim’s family pending notification and grieving and ask that you keep Mr. Brown’s family and the witnesses and first responders in your thoughts,” stated Sgt. Ron Taylor of the NHSP.
State police are still looking for witnesses or anyone else who might have information regarding the crash. Call Trooper Janell Smith at 603-223-4381 if you have information about the crash or Edward Brown.
