According to the New Hampshire State Police, a trooper conducting special enforcement traffic measures on I-93 north near Ashland allegedly saw two motorcycles approaching his cruiser at 118 mph. They were reportedly driving in a 70 mph speed zone. The trooper stopped the motorcycles – Grant was on a Decati; Clark on a Honda – and arrested them. They were both released on personal recognizance bail and are due in court on Nov. 19 in Plymouth District Court.

“The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors,” according to Sgt. Patrick Curran. “Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire’s roadways safe for all residents and visitors.”
