Night Work Coming to I-93 this Week

Expect lane closures in both the northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 3 and Exit 4.

WINDHAM, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of I-93 northbound and southbound from the weigh station in Windham to a half mile south of the Exit 4 interchange, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. Weather permitting, nighttime construction operations will take place starting on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, and continue through the morning of Saturday, Nov. 12.

"The work that will take place during this time frame will consist of paving the southbound lanes in areas that were damaged during blasting operations," according to the NH DOT. "A portion of the northbound lanes will also be repaired at this time."

The paving and striping work will require traffic on northbound and southbound I-93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure, and will take place during non-commuter hours, between approximately 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
