No Injuries After Sedans Crash In Downtown Concord

Video: The vehicles were quickly cleared from Pleasant and South State streets late Tuesday night.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a crash downtown late Tuesday night.

Just before 11:45 p.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Pleasant and South State streets. One vehicle struck a utility pole, dispatch said, while the second vehicle was about a block away. A witness reported the crash, and an automatic crash notification was sent to 911, a Concord police dispatcher said.

The crash was between a Hyundai Sonata and a Kia sedan.

Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to evaluate a driver.

The first arriving officer confirmed the crash and said the pole had not suffered significant damage. Unitil was requested to the scene to check the pole.

A tow truck was also requested to remove the vehicles.

News 603 posted a video from the crash scene on Facebook.

The crash was cleared around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
