FRANKLIN, NH — Money raised during the summer from the 150th anniversary celebration of Franklin Savings Bank is being put to good use, supporting a nonprofit recreational organization. Franklin Outing Club received a check for $4,250 from the bank after the day-long event which commemorated the bank's milestone. The club hosts a variety of activities, at low-to-no cost, to members who are interested in outdoor activities.

The club has residents all around the capital region and Lakes Region of New Hampshire and is supported by contributions from members and businesses.

"We are proud to present the Franklin Outing Club with this donation to support their mission of providing residents of the greater Franklin community with outdoor recreational activities for all ages," said Ron Magoon, the president and CEO of the FSB. "As a bank that is deeply committed and vested in the revitalization of Franklin, we felt it was important to support a local group by donating all monies raised from hosting our celebratory event. This is another fine example of how a true community bank supports its community."
