Northfield, Concord Teens Face Charges

Both charged with possession.

Two male teenagers have court dates later this month after being arrested in the early morning hours of Aug. 11.

According to arrest reports, , 18, of Concord, on a possession of a controlled drug charge at 1:22 a.m. at the intersection of Loudon and Fort Eddy roads.

Police allege that Petricca was in possession of a red, multi-colored smoking device with burnt resident of marijuana in it.

The Concord High School student was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 17.

Also arrested with Petricca was Tyler Hoyt, 18, of Northfield, who was charged with unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle, possession of drugs, and possession of controlled drugs. He was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Loudon and Fort Eddy roads.

Police allege that Hoyt was driving a stolen 2003 Oldsmobile Alero at the time of his arrest. The alleged victim in the case was a Northfield man.

Police allege that Hoyt was in possession of marijuana in a broken glass smoking pipe. Personal recognizance bail was set at $6,000. Hoyt is due in on Sept. 17.
