Numerous Crashes Reported On and Off I-93

Concord Police, Fire and Rescue teams, and NHSP have been busy with pre- and post-NASCAR traffic.

The races are over and the race to get home has begun. But since late this morning and in fact, most of the afternoon, there have been a number of accidents reported along I-93.

At around 11:30 a.m. on July 19, NH DOT reported a crash southbound between Exit 16 and Exit 15W. The left lane of the roadway was closed for about 45 minutes.

Then, about an hour later, at just after 1 p.m., another accident, this time, between Exit 17 and Exit 16 on the southbound side of the highway was reported with the left lane closed again.

An hour later, at around 2 p.m., another accident was reported in Canterbury on the southbound side. It took about an hour and a half to clear the road.

NH DOT reported at 2:30 p.m. that there was heavy traffic on the Interstate and to plan ahead and expect delays.

At just before 3:30 p.m., the Canterbury accident was cleared and another accident was reported, this time, on the northbound side of I-93 at I-89. That crash was quickly cleared.

Then, at around 4:45 p.m. at Hoit Road and Exit 17, Brian Blackden caught these shots of another accident. According to Blackden, the driver went from the south exit ramp, did a donut on Hoit Road, and landed way up the road after rolling over.
