According to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White, the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force was requested to locate and arrest Garland on warrants out of Jackson County, OK, for kidnapping and assault with a dangerous weapon, connected to an incident in Altus, OK, in April 2015. They received information that Garland might be on Beacon Street and went with Concord Police to the apartment.
“After several knocks at the door, someone was heard coming to the door and then fled upstairs,” White stated. “Entry into the apartment was forced with a battering ram. Garland was located hiding in the attic, where he was arrested without further incident.”

The arrest was made by several member agencies including members from the Rockingham and Strafford County Sheriff’s Offices, Concord and Allenstown Police Departments, along with deputy U.S. Marshals, he noted. Garland is being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
According to KSWO.com, Garland allegedly drove his car into his girlfriend while she was carrying her 2-year-old child. He allegedly kept her locked in a bedroom by blocking the door while they were fighting. She escaped through a window, according to the report.
