Olson-Wilder Honored with Bank Award
Belmont resident receives 2015 Citizens Bank Credo Champion for Community Award. Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation to receive donation.

For her outstanding commitment to the community, Belmont resident Gretta Olson-Wilder has been selected by Citizens Bank for its annual Credo Champion for Community Award.
As part of the award and in celebration of Dec. 1, 2015, as Giving Tuesday, Citizens Bank will contribute $2,500 to Olson-Wilder’s charity of choice, according to a press statement. This award is part of Citizens Helping Citizens, the bank’s program that strives to enhance quality of life and economic vitality in local communities.
“It is because of Gretta’s inspiring dedication to the community and her tireless efforts to go above and beyond in both her professional and personal endeavors that we proudly award her this honor,” said Joe Carelli, president of Citizens Bank, New Hampshire. “Gretta embodies Citizens’ spirit of giving, contributing countless hours of community service in 2015 to organizations across New Hampshire.”

“Each year, a volunteer or a group of volunteers who perform exemplary service to the community is honored by Citizens Bank with this award,” said Carelli, “and with a contribution to the nonprofit organization of the recipient’s choice.”
Olson-Wilder has selected the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation to receive the $2,500 donation.

This annual award was created in April 2007 by Citizens Bank to honor volunteers who perform exemplary service in the communities where Citizens does business. Nominations for the award are made by co-workers or colleagues nominating themselves.
The Citizens Helping Citizens program addresses four key areas: fighting hunger, providing shelter, teaching money management and strengthening communities.
