One Dies in Clinton Street Motor Vehicle Accident
Concord Police close off part of the street off during investigation.

The Concord Police Department is asking residents to seek alternative routes after a motor vehicle accident that took the life of a person on Clinton Street.
Officers were called to Park and Ride near I-89 at around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, for a report of an accident with injury.
The accident involved two vehicles and police “confirmed that one person has died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident,” according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Two other people were also injured during the accident and were transported to Concord Hospital. Police confirmed that one of the injured people was a 7-year-old child.
The police are reporting that a section between I-89 and Langley Parkway is closed during the investigations.

“We are asking that drivers seek alternate routes as this section of Clinton [Street] will be closed for several hours as investigators process the scene,” O’Malley said.
