Oops: U-Haul Crashes Into Concord Police SUV
Watch: Traffic was slowed at the busy Washington and Centre streets intersection earlier today after a U-Haul struck a police vehicle.

CONCORD, NH — No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Centre Street at Washington and Pine streets this afternoon and police didn’t have to race to the scene of the accident either – since it involved a police vehicle. At just before 1 p.m. on May 15, 2019, according to witnesses, a police officer in an SUV stopped at the intersection to allow some pedestrians to cross the street. As the officer was allowing the pedestrians to cross, the U-Haul reportedly attempted to circle around the SUV and collided with it, according to witnesses.
The officer driving the SUV requested a sergeant to the scene to assist, according to scanner chatter. One officer gathered evidence, spoke to witnesses, and took photos while the other directed traffic.
