Out of Control Patient Allegedly Rips Up Hospital Room
More than $2,000 worth of damage reported.

A man from Lebanon allegedly destroyed a room at last month after reportedly asking to be admitted to the state hospital.
According to an affidavit filed with the , three police officers showed up at the hospital on July 13, at around 8 a.m. for a report of a patient that was out of control.
The officers were led to a yellow pod area of the hospital where they hold psychiatric patients waiting to be evaluated, according to the report. Hospital security officers told the police that , 47, a homeless man new residing in , had shown up at the hospital on July 12, and asked to be admitted to the .

Paperwork was prepared but there was no room at the state hospital for Mlcoch. So he remained at Concord Hospital. However, when he woke up the next morning, he allegedly became upset and began tearing down the ceiling while yelling.
“They closed the doors as he was trying to leave and they could hear him continue to damage the room,” the report stated.

The officers went into the room and found Mlcoch lying on a bed and the floor covered in ceiling tiles, frame supports, ductwork, and other debris.
“Mlcoch said he was upset because they would not get breakfast for him or let him brush his teeth,” the report stated.
Mlcoch was arrested and charged with criminal mischief (vandalism), a felony, and brought to the headquarters for processing. Another officer remained to take pictures of the damage and take witness statements. The estimated repair cost for the room was more than $2,000.
