Out on Probation, Woman Allegedly Assaults Boyfriend Again
Concord Police: Zwisler stuck her nails into victim's face.

A South End woman was arrested last month after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, reportedly after an afternoon of drinking.
Angela Kay Zwisler, 49, of Concord, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. on May 14, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons) and resisting arrest or detention.
Officers were sent to a domestic dispute on West Street, according to a Concord Police arrest report. The man at the residence reportedly told police that he called them because he was having problems with his girlfriend, Zwisler, who was out on probation after trying to stab him last year. He alleged that Zwisler had been drinking wine and was “extremely intoxicated” and started to attack him.

Zwisler, he alleged, kicked him in the leg and punched him in the shoulder. Later, she allegedly “grabbed him in the face and stuck her nails into his skin below his eyes,” according to the report. The officer reported seeing four puncture wounds in the man’s face.
Another officer spoke with Zwisler and alleged that she was intoxicated and slurring her words. The officers reported that there appeared to be no redness, blood, abrasions, or any evidence that Zwisler had been assaulted.

The reporting officer then tried speaking to Zwisler and he alleged that she was inebriated and “slurring her speech.” The officer alleged that she refused to explain her side of the incident.
Officers tried to take her into custody and she allegedly began to scream obscenities and was not cooperative during the arrest process. Officers were reportedly forced to carry her off the front porch of the duplex due to her being “aggressive in nature” during the arrest, screaming and dragging her feet.
A Bow Police officer was also called into assist.
Zwisler was held on cash bail and was arraigned on May 15.
During the past two years, Zwisler has been arrested a number of times for first degree assault, simple assault, criminal threatening, resisting arrest or detention, criminal mischief, obstructing report of a crime or injury, taking a firearm from a law enforcement officer, and breach of bail charges.
