CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a citywide winter storm event parking ban from Sunday night through Monday morning.

No on-street parking will be allowed on any city street between 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 16 until 7 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2025. In an alert, city officials requested residents to remove their vehicles so plows can clear snow from the latest storm. Vehicles parked on the street, the city said, impede snow removal and block plows, especially on narrow streets.

Vehicles not removed from streets and roads are subject to a ticket and will be towed. Owners of the vehicles will be responsible for the tow fee, too.

Free parking is available at city garages until 8 a.m. Tuesday (due to Monday being a holiday) for permitted and leased parking spaces (these are marked with signage) and metered spots through 9 a.m. Garages are located on School Street, North State Street, and Storrs Street.

Residents of the village of Penacook may park overnight in the municipal parking lots on Canal Street and Tanner Street.
