Parking Ban Issued For Concord

Breaking: Any vehicle on a city street after midnight will be towed. Garages are free through 8 a.m. on Friday.

CONCORD, NH — Officials have issued a winter storm event parking ban for the entire city, according to an alert. No on-street parking will be allowed on any city street beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2018, through 7 a.m. on Jan. 5. According to the alert, parking is free in city garages from 5 p.m. through 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

“Cars not removed from the street can impede snow removal and block plows on narrow streets,” the alert noted. “Violators of the city-wide parking ban are subject to receiving a ticket and being towed by Concord Police’s Parking Division."

City officials are also asking residents to stay off of White Park pond so that it can be cleared of snow for skating.
