Patten Decides to Run Again

Ward 8 City Councilor Dick Patten has decided to run for re-election after all.

Just before the signup deadline, Patten was leaning towards not running and then, had initially decided not to run for re-election after two other people, Gail Matson and Dennis Soucy, signed up to run. 

However, after being urged to reconsider, volunteers went out into Ward 8 and gathered enough signatures from voters in the district to put his name back on the ballot. 

On Sept. 20, the signatures were submitted and Patten made it official at the clerk’s office.
