1. ANOTHER WET AND CLOUDY WEEK. Forecasters are predicting another wet and cloudy week this week with a bit of sun on Thursday and Friday. Monday, it will be cloudy with highs in the low 50s and lows in the high 30s. Tuesday, expect clouds all day with some rain, temps will be in the low 50s. The rain continues into Wednesday morning and after the clouds move out, the temperatures will drop into the 40s. The sun will break through on Thursday, highs in the mid-40s. On Friday, expect partly sunny skies, highs in the high 30s, lows in the 20s. The weekend looks to be chilly but some sun on Sunday.
2. MUNICIPAL MEETINGS. The Finance Committee meets at 6 p.m. in the high school library. The Library Trustees meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, in the auditorium. The Concord School Board meets at 7 p.m. at the . The Local Energy Committee meets at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, in the . The Technical Review Committee meets at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, in the second floor conference room of . The Trails Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, in the second floor conference room of City Hall. Also on Wednesday, the Zoning Board of Adjustment meets at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The ZBA will consider a request from Cumberland Farms about a sign, a tabled discussion about a variance for a shed at 10 Foster St., a variance request to subdivide a property at 21 Rockingham St., a variance to create a hair salon at 30 Henniker St. in warehouse space, variances for an addition at 4 Wilson Ave., variances for 8 Loudon Road for the construction of a restaurant, a request for a 10-foot tall freestanding sign at 49 S. Main St., variances for 175 Manchester St., and variances for a parking lot at 10 Montgomery St. The Golf Advisory Committee meets at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, to discuss the master plan formation of a subcommittee and review the pond expansion review of process and timeline. The Solid Waste Advisory Committee meets at 4:15 p.m. at the , 311 N. 4. PEARL HARBOR ATTACKS AT 70. Wednesday is the 70th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, the date that will live in infamy, as FDR stated at the time. At 8 a.m., the will be a memorial service at the , acknowledging the date.
