Pedestrian Struck In Downtown Concord; Part Of Green Street Closed

Cops are investigating an incident Friday morning outside headquarters involving a truck and a woman who was hit and has a head injury.

CONCORD, NH — Several streets downtown are closed due to a pickup truck striking a pedestrian Friday morning.

Limited information is available about the incident, but police said around 7 a.m., the pedestrian was struck by the truck at the intersection of Green and School streets. When Concord fire and rescue teams arrived, they requested an immediate trauma alert at Concord Hospital, preparing them for a woman in her mid-50s with a head injury.

Green Street will be closed from Capitol Street to Warren Street during the crash investigation. School Street from North State Street to North Spring Street will also be closed. Police estimate the streets will be closed for several hours.
