Pedestrian Taken To Concord Hospital After Being Struck By A Vehicle In Downtown Concord: Video

CONCORD, NH — A man was taken to Concord Hospital on Monday after being struck by a pickup truck downtown.

Just after 3 p.m., police dispatch began receiving calls about a pedestrian struck at Loudon Road and Main Street. Officers were sent to the scene to investigate and handle traffic. One of the officers requested Concord Fire and Rescue teams due to the man's injury.

“The male that was struck is bleeding from the head,” the officer said, “but he is up, walking and talking to us.”

The vehicle in question was a pickup truck.

Dispatch ran a check on the driver, and he was licensed and had no active warrants.

The pedestrian was a man in his mid-50s.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital around 3:30 p.m., according to scanner chatter.
