Pembroke Man Killed In I-93 Rollover; Speeding Cited
Brad Emmons, 22, crashed into a tree along Interstate 93 in Hooksett.
HOOKSETT, NH — A 22-year-old man was killed in a crash on Interstate 93 Thursday night and police said speeding was a factor. Brad J. Emmons, of Pembroke, was driving on the northbound side of the highway just after the split but before the tolls when he "lost control and subsequently veered off the roadway to the right and into the woods," New Hampshire State Police Lt. Bryan Trask said in a statement. Emmons was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers located the vehicle — a black Honda Civic — against a tree. Emmons crashed through a guardrail, Trask said.
"The preliminary investigation indicates that Emmons lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, rolled over several times and crashed into the tree line," Trask added. "Speed is a factor. However, all aspects of the incident remain under investigation."
