Pembroke Man Was Found At Radisson Hotel: Cops
Report: John Lafratta of Pembroke was arrested on Friday night on warrants after a tip led police in Manchester to the downtown hotel.

MANCHESTER, NH — A tip led police to capture a man wanted after a reported home barricade incident in nearby Pembroke last week, according to Manchester Police. John Lafratta, 54, of Pembroke, was arrested on July 28, 2017, for resisting arrest and detention as well as outstanding warrants. On Friday, a SWAT team and other officers were sent to Brickett Hill Road in Pembroke for a trespass incident that later turned into a reported man barricaded inside of his former home.

Police Allenstown, Bow, Epsom, and Pembroke searched the home and then, called for backup, and during that time, Lafratta reportedly was able to slip away from police.
Alerts were sent out asking for the public’s help finding Lafratta and Pembroke Police reportedly received one that he was at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Manchester. Cops in Pembroke contacted Manchester police and an officer was sent to that location. The officer allegedly found Lafratta in the lobby and began speaking with him about his outstanding warrants.

“The man denied being wanted and tensed up as the officer attempted to place him in handcuffs,” Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department alleged. "(Other officers) arrived on scene to assist with the arrest. Lafratta continued to struggle with the officers but was eventually subdued and transported to police headquarters.”
Lafratta was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Manchester District Court on Sept. 1.
