Perfect Weather, Helping Friends, Tone Up Tuesday

1. More sun. Expect more sunny skies with highs in the low 70s. There will be a light breeze out of the southeast. Overnight lows drop down into the 40s, with light wind.
2. Got something to say? Blog for Patch! It’s as easy as typing a letter to the editor. If you have a Patch account, just click on the blogger link, add the text, and hit save. It’s that simple. Join in the fun and share your thoughts about the community, state, and nation.
3. Last day to help Friends of Forgotten Children. By eating at Friendly’s on Loudon Road, of course. Stop by with a voucher that’s attached to this link and 20 percent of your bill will go to the organization.
4. Tone up Tuesday. Go out and get some exercise: Dance Inspirations has a Zumba class at 9:30 a.m. There’s an open gym at Green Street Center at 11:45 a.m. Let’s Dance Studio has a Zumba class at 5 p.m. Zumba toning is available at the Concord Dance Academy at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., The Racquet Club of Concord hosts an aqua Zumba class.
5. Other stuff. Free English as a second language classes and homework help are available at United Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Lex and Joe play Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. The Barley House offers traditional Irish music at 7 p.m.
