Crews will be at work concurrently during the week in the South Main work zone excavating, placing drainage structures, other utilities.

CONCORD, NH — Construction crews will be excavating trenches for utility conduit across side streets in the South Main work zone next week. This will cause day-long closures of these streets at the South Main Street end. The work/closure schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Alley between OutFitters Thrift Store and L&B Tailors
- Tuesday: Concord St.
- Thursday: Concord St.
- Friday: Concord St. and Fayette St.
These streets will be accessible from State Street. Local traffic will be able to access private parking lots. The public parking lot behind the former Employment Security building will be accessible from State Street. The Concord Food Coop’s parking lot will be open at all times.
Other crews will be at work concurrently during the week in the South Main work zone excavating and placing drainage structures and other underground utilities. Thursday, the existing pavement will be removed on South Main from Fayette to Concord Street. Crews will be working this Saturday installing street light pole bases, and next Saturday grading the street from Fayette to Concord in preparation for base paving the following Monday.
