Pickup Truck Crashes Into Parked Car, Rolls On Franklin Street In Concord: Watch

Part of the North End street was closed for about an hour after a crash on Wednesday. The driver was treated by EMTs.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a rollover crash on Franklin Street on Wednesday.

Around 6 p.m., Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as the police, were sent to the area of Jackson and Franklin streets for a report of a rollover with possible entrapment. When they arrived, they found a Honda Ridgeline on its side after its driver crashed the pickup into a parked Hyundai Elantra.

The pickup truck was driving west while the sedan was parked on the north side of the street.

According to scanner chatter, the first responding officer said there was a language barrier, but the driver gave him a thumbs up that he was OK.

Firefighters stabilized the truck and put up ladders, attempting to access the truck. Police blocked both sides of the street and began investigating the crash. Several residents who heard the collision were questioned while watching the driver be helped out of the truck.

Firefighters spent about 15 minutes clearing the airbag and attempting to remove the driver from inside.

EMTs evaluated the driver and firefighters cleared the scene around 6:45 p.m.
