Pilot Injured After Crashing Helicopter In Merrimack County: Police
The pilot lost control of the helicopter, crashing at a residential property in the 200 block of Dean Road in Danbury, authorities said.

MERRIMACK COUNTY, NH — A pilot was injured after crashing a helicopter at a residential property in Merrimack County Saturday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the reported helicopter crash at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Dean Road in Danbury, according to a news release from New Hampshire State Police.
An initial investigation shows the pilot lost control near a landing site and crashed into the wood line of the residential property. The pilot, and sole occupant in the helicopter, suffered injuries but was conscious, breathing and alert when paramedics arrived at the scene, police said.

The pilot, whose name is not being released at this time, was taken by ambulance to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.
Anyone who may have witnessed the helicopter crash or who has additional information, should contact the Danbury Police Department, according to the news release. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Traffic Safety Board will be investigating the cause of the collision.
