Pine Tree Crashes on Concord Mobile Home

A woman was injured earlier today after high winds blew over a tree from a neighboring property and struck the Fisherville Road unit.

CONCORD, NH - A local woman was injured earlier today in Concord after a pine tree fell on a mobile home on Fisherville Road.

The tree fell from an adjacent property onto the mobile home at around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, 2016, according to Tony Thibeault, the owner of the mobile home. His wife was at home at the time when the tree came crashing down on the home. She was injured and checked out by Concord Fire and Rescue teams but is OK, he said.

The Thibeaults have been in the mobile home for about two years. He said this was the second time that a tree from a neighboring lot had fallen down on his trailer lot. In the previous incident, he moved their cars away from the tree line as he saw the tree swaying. It later fell into the driveway, just missing their cars. The owner of the neighboring home had cut a number of trees down but left some along the fencing and line of the property, Thibeault said.
