Poinier Named New Intown Concord Operations Manager

South End resident brings a wealth of experience to the job.

Liza Poinier Clendenning has been named the new operations manager of .

Poinier is an 11-year resident of Concord with two decades of experience in communications, public relations, and project management.

Most recently, she worked for the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, where her responsibilities included communications, web development, media relations, social media, marketing, and producing publications including NH Wildlife Journal magazine.

Previously, Poinier freelanced as a communications specialist for nonprofit groups and community involvement initiatives in Concord and Arizona. Her clients included New Hampshire Celebrates Wellness and the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale. One of Liza’s first projects in Concord was helping to resurrect the Winter Carnival at White Park as volunteer co-producer in 2002.

Poinier lives in the South End with her husband, Bruce, and children Elliot and Audrey. As a committed local shopper, fan of walking-distance commutes, and longtime downtown “booster,” she’s feeling lucky and happy to be working with an organization, board, and volunteers who share her enthusiasm for all things Intown.

Liza officially starts on Sept. 10.
