Police: Clinton Street Accident Claims Second Victim

Kyara Mailhot, 7, has succumbed to injuries from the Oct. 19 accident.

The Concord Police Department is reporting that the young Manchester girl who was injured in an accident on Clinton Street has died.

Kyara Mailhot, 7, of Manchester, was rushed to Concord Hospital at around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, after officers responded to a two vehicle accident on Clinton Street near Iron Works Road, off I-89.

Jesse Wolfe, a Manchester man who was driving one of the vehicles, passed away due to injuries sustained in the accident later that evening. A woman and child also sustained injuries during the accident, according to police. The woman was treated and released.

“The Concord Police are still actively investigating this accident,” noted Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit inside the department. “We ask that if any person witnessed the accident or has information about it to please contact us at 603-226-8600.”

Wolfe was a Class of 2000 graduate of Concord High School who later went to Curry College where he was a disc jockey at WMLN. He was a father of two children who loved fishing and playing in the Concord Men’s Basket Ball League. He was 31.
